The State can help people who are struggling to pay their electricity, water, and waste utility bills. Eligible households can enroll in the program, which offers a 60% discount on Light bills and a 50% discount on Public Utilities bills.

How to apply

  1. Collect your required documents

    In order to quality for this program, you'll need to upload a copy of a recent paystub, a valid driver's license, and your last utility bill.

  2. Ensure you have information for your utilities accounts handy

    You will be asked a series of questions about your utilities accounts. Please have that information available in order to complete the application.

  3. Check the mail

    If approved, you will receive confirmation of your discount in the mail. That document holds important information.
